Hello, and a warm welcome to the Forum at Twin Pregnancy And Beyond.
UPDATE!! Hey everyone, thanks for joining us here at the forum. We just developed a brand new social network exclusively for parents of twins (and those expecting twins too). It's called MY Twin Pregnancy And Beyond You will be able to totally customize your profile, add photos, videos, blog posts, meet other parents of twins, make new friends, give and get advice on the message boards, join forum discussions and more! It's like a better version of what we have here. We would eventually like to close this forum and transition everyone over to the new network, so go on over and sign up!
It's totally easy and, of course, free! See you there!

Hi, I am erica and I have a set of b/g twins that are 2 1/2 they will turn 3 in Nov. I had them in 2005 the day before thanksgiving, so it's kind of a joke in the family that I was the one up for the carving (c section) and not the turkey! |

Reply with quote | #6 | Hi Everyone!
I'm Shal...pregnant with identical twins. This is my first pregnancy. I have been told that they are monochorionic/monoamniotic twins. This sounds a little scary from what I've heard/read. Is there anyone else out there with momo twins that could give me a little insight?
Thanks! |

Reply with quote | #8 | Good Morning everyone - I'm new here and just wanted to say this is my second pregnancy and we found out about a month ago we were having twins. We are due July 2, 2009. I love this website. I currently have a 2-year old son and have no clue about twins so I have been on the internet since we found out trying to get a grasp on this whole thing.
So far I have had a very easy pregnancy and I hope it continues that way=) |

Reply with quote | #9 | Hello, I am a new member and simply wish to introduce myself. I am 45yo single(never married) and currently 12 weeks pregnant with twins....via embryo adoption/donation. It has always been my dream to be married and a mom. After years of frustration in the on/off-line dating world I chose to move forward after learning of embryo donation. I have experienced quite a bit of nausea/vomiting for the past month but is now improved with Zofran. I am excited about my new journey but won't be so heroic and say I am still a bit fearful of how I will handle everything on my own. I know, my faith will carry me through. I may have to relocate from the PNW to be closer to family in KS for assistance. Many big decisions ahead but it is all part of a beautiful grand journey. Kathleen

Reply with quote | #11 | Hi everyone! I'm also new to this forum. I'm 26 years old and have a 2 year old son, and to my shock I found out last week that I am expecting twins, I'm about 8 weeks along and G-d willing due Sept 4th. I'm so happy I found this website! no one knows I'm pregnant, except my husband my mom and my grandmother, as far as support goes they give all they can. But no one from my family knows about twin pregnancies so I don't think they are understanding how sick I'm feeling. I don't plan on announcing that I am having twins until way into the 2nd trimester, so I won't be getting that support from my friends that have twins. I hope that this will be a great experience and we can all support each other, especially through the nausea and exhaustion!!
By the way, don't get me wrong, I'm sooooo excited about this pregnancy! I just need some advice on how to not feel so sick |

Reply with quote | #12 | Hey everyone! My name is Cheri. I am a 38 yr old grandma of 2 with #3 on the way. My husband and I were VERY surprised to find out we are pregnant earlier this month. At the first Dr. Appt, they did an ultrasound and found twins! The doc thinks they are fraternal, but at the time I measured right over 6 wks each and had heartbeats at 119BPM. They definitely each have their own sac. We have told everyone on the planet and they are thrilled, even my older daughters. Between us both, this will be child #8 and #9. We each have children from previous marriages. It has definitely been a whirlwind, and having not had babies for over 12 yrs, I feel like it's my first time all over again! Hope to see you all soon, and I look forward to visiting during this pregnancy. I am sure that there is a whole lot to learn about this new adventure! __________________ Cheri - EDD 9/1/09 |
