Mini Cribs

Hi there, I'm new to the site and I just found out I'm having twins... and I'm trying to figure out the duo nursery... it's kind of small, and instead of using one crib (which my husband is against) I'm trying to figure out an alternative, and wondering if anyone has any input on the mini cribs that are available? That way we could get two, but are they very practical- up to what age can they be used for? I'm not due til December, but never hurts to be organized i guess!

Could it still be twins???

I went in for my first ultrasound at about 7 1/2 weeks and was told we were having twins, then we went back two weeks later and the doctor said that the midwives who had done the first ultra sound must have gotten a mirror image of the one baby...is it possible that I could still be carrying twins and one is hiding behind the other baby?

sex of my twins

Hello, I just found out this week that my twins are boys. I have 3 boys already, so that makes a house full of boys and me. LOL. I love it. The US tech said that she wasn't able to tell for sure if they are identical or fraternal, but she would guess fraternal. They have seperate placenta and there is a thick membrane sepatating them.
Their names are Liam Kanter (Kanter is my husbands grandpa's name) and Raef Gifford "Giff" (my dad and grandpa are both Ralph Gifford). We thought it was really important to choose very strong family names.
We are thrilled!
morning sickness

Hello mothers of twins and expected mothers of twins. My wife and I are as you guessed expecting twins! We have had a hard time getting pregnant and have gone through a DE with our first pregnancy and had two others that failed. Now that she is 8 weeks along with this pregnancy, she is experiencing severe morning sickness. Of course it is not just in the morning, the sickness is lasting all day and night. As her husband, I am trying to do as much as I can around the house, cooking, cleaning ext. I was wondering if anybody could give me some suggestions as to what else I can do to support my wife?

Thank you for your suggestions in advance.

Brian

This is my 4th pregnancy and it's twins (obviously). My second pregnancy my scheduled csection was at 39 weeks and 3 days. He had underdeveloped lungs even that far along. So my 3rd csection was scheduled for 40 weeks, not a day earlier. The doc really wants me to get to 39 weeks with this pregnancy, even though it's twins. Right now I hope to make it that far too, I know a point will come when I just want them out.... Have any of you ever made it full term with twins?

confused about 2nd trimester

Hi everyone!
I'm a little confused about something. I've been reading everywhere that the 2nd trimester starts at 14 weeks, then some of my friends say 13 weeks, but my doctor says 12 weeks. Which is it? I'm totally showing and it's becoming very hard to hide the fact that I'm PG, I don't want people to ask me till I'm ready to say something. Anyone have an answer for me? Thanks girls!
8 weeks and no morning sickness?

Hi everyone. I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant with twins After struggling with Ashermans syndrome (my uterus fused together after the birth of my daughter) after over a year of different surgery's and a round of clomid I finally got my baby... or should I say 2

My biggest concern is that I'm 8 weeks along and have not had one bought of morning sickness. Although I was able to miss this symptom with my daughter I have always heard that it is almost a guarantee to have at least some sort of morning sickness at least in the first trimester.

Has anyone skipped this symptom and gone on to have 2 healthy happy babies?
